In short: you keep the copyright. Enchanted Zoo may use your model only inside the zoo: no selling, no passing it on, no use anywhere else. Your name goes on the credit wall, and you can take the model back with three months' notice. Fill in the form, read the licence, then send it to us together with your model.

Kurz gesagt: Das Urheberrecht bleibt bei dir. Enchanted Zoo darf dein Modell nur im Zoo verwenden: kein Verkauf, keine Weitergabe, keine Nutzung anderswo. Between the creator named above (“you”) and Kristof Hulmann, Kristof Hulmann Webdesign, Watzmannstraße 30, 83451 Piding, Germany, who runs Enchanted Zoo (“the Zoo”).   1. The model

    This licence covers the 3D model named above, with its textures, rig and animations, and any updated versions you send later (“the Model”).

  2. Your rights stay yours

    You keep the copyright and all other rights in the Model. You may go on using, selling or licensing it anywhere else. This licence is non-exclusive.

    Deine Rechte bleiben bei dir

    Das Urheberrecht und alle anderen Rechte am Modell bleiben bei dir. Du darfst es weiterhin überall sonst nutzen, verkaufen oder lizenzieren. Diese Lizenz ist ein einfaches (nicht ausschließliches) Nutzungsrecht.

  3. What the Zoo may do

    You give the Zoo a free, non-exclusive, worldwide right, for as long as this licence runs, to:

    1. put the Model into Enchanted Zoo, the browser game at zoo.enchantedzoo.com, including later addresses and app versions of the same game;
    2. adapt it technically so it runs well there, for example reduce polygons, compress or resize textures, convert the file format, scale it, and adjust or combine its animations, without changing its character;
    3. show it to players, which means the file is sent to their devices while they play;
    4. show it in pictures and videos that promote Enchanted Zoo, for example on enchantedzoo.com, Ko-fi and social media.

    The game is free and is paid for by voluntary donations. This right covers that.

    Was der Zoo darf

    Du räumst dem Zoo für die Laufzeit dieser Lizenz ein unentgeltliches, einfaches, weltweites Recht ein,

    1. das Modell in Enchanted Zoo zu verwenden, dem Browser-Spiel unter zoo.enchantedzoo.com, auch unter späteren Adressen und in App-Fassungen desselben Spiels;
    2. es technisch anzupassen, damit es dort gut läuft, zum Beispiel Polygone reduzieren, Texturen komprimieren oder verkleinern, das Dateiformat umwandeln, es skalieren und Animationen anpassen oder kombinieren, ohne seinen Charakter zu verändern;
    3. es den Spielern zu zeigen; dabei wird die Datei während des Spielens auf ihr Gerät übertragen;
    4. es auf Bildern und in Videos zu zeigen, die für Enchanted Zoo werben, zum Beispiel auf enchantedzoo.com, Ko-fi und in sozialen Medien.

    Das Spiel ist kostenlos und wird durch freiwillige Spenden finanziert. Dieses Recht deckt das ab.

  4. What the Zoo will not do

    The Zoo will not sell the Model or give it to anyone, will not grant sublicences, will not offer the Model files for download (alone or in a pack), will not use the Model in any other game, app or project, and will not use it to train AI. Hosting and content delivery providers may store the files only to run the game.

    Der Zoo wird das Modell weder verkaufen noch an andere weitergeben, keine Unterlizenzen erteilen, die Modelldateien nicht zum Herunterladen anbieten (weder einzeln noch im Paket), das Modell in keinem anderen Spiel, keiner anderen App und keinem anderen Projekt verwenden und es nicht zum Training von KI nutzen. Hosting- und Auslieferungsdienste (CDN) dürfen die Dateien nur speichern, um das Spiel zu betreiben.

  5. Credit

    Your name from the form, and your link if you gave one, are shown on the credit wall at the zoo entrance and on enchantedzoo.com for as long as the Model is in the zoo.

    Dein Name aus dem Formular und, falls angegeben, dein Link werden auf der Danksagungswand am Zooeingang und auf enchantedzoo.com genannt, solange das Modell im Zoo ist.

  6. Your promise

    You confirm that you made the Model yourself and may grant this licence: it is not a copy, edit or re-upload of someone else's work, and it holds no parts (scans, textures, sculpts, animations) you have no rights to. If someone else claims rights in the Model, please tell the Zoo straight away. If the promise turns out to be untrue, the Zoo removes the Model.

    Deine Zusicherung

    Du bestätigst, dass du das Modell selbst erstellt hast und diese Lizenz erteilen darfst: Es ist keine Kopie, Bearbeitung oder Weiterveröffentlichung fremder Arbeit und enthält keine Teile (Scans, Texturen, Sculpts, Animationen), an denen dir die Rechte fehlen. Wenn jemand anderes Rechte am Modell geltend macht, sag dem Zoo bitte sofort Bescheid. Stellt sich die Zusicherung als unrichtig heraus, entfernt der Zoo das Modell.

  7. Free, and no promise to use it

    You give this licence for free. You get no share of donations or other income. The Zoo decides freely whether and when it uses the Model. If this licence is not filled in completely, does not fit the Model, or the Model does not meet the zoo's requirements, the Model is not used and its files are deleted.

    Unentgeltlich und ohne Pflicht zur Nutzung

    Du erteilst diese Lizenz unentgeltlich. Du erhältst keinen Anteil an Spenden oder anderen Einnahmen. Der Zoo entscheidet frei, ob und wann er das Modell verwendet. Ist diese Lizenz nicht vollständig ausgefüllt, passt sie nicht zum Modell oder erfüllt das Modell die Anforderungen des Zoos nicht, wird das Modell nicht verwendet und die Dateien werden gelöscht.

  8. Taking it back

    You can end this licence at any time by email, with three months' notice. By the end of the notice period at the latest, the Zoo removes the Model from the game and deletes its files. Pictures and videos published before may stay online. The Zoo can stop using the Model at any time.

    Zurücknehmen

    Du kannst diese Lizenz jederzeit per E-Mail mit einer Frist von drei Monaten kündigen. Spätestens zum Ende der Frist entfernt der Zoo das Modell aus dem Spiel und löscht die Dateien. Bereits veröffentlichte Bilder und Videos dürfen online bleiben. Der Zoo kann die Nutzung jederzeit beenden.

  9. Protecting the files

    A browser game has to send its 3D files to the player's device. The Zoo serves the Model only inside the game, never publishes the source files and keeps them off download pages. It cannot technically stop someone from extracting the files, and is not liable for unlawful copying by others as long as it keeps to this licence. If the Zoo learns of misuse, it tells you and helps you act against it.

    Schutz der Dateien

    Ein Browser-Spiel muss seine 3D-Dateien auf das Gerät der Spieler übertragen. Der Zoo liefert das Modell nur innerhalb des Spiels aus, veröffentlicht nie die Quelldateien und bietet sie nicht zum Herunterladen an. Er kann technisch nicht verhindern, dass jemand die Dateien ausliest, und haftet nicht für unrechtmäßiges Kopieren durch Dritte, solange er sich an diese Lizenz hält. Erfährt der Zoo von Missbrauch, informiert er dich und unterstützt dich dabei, dagegen vorzugehen.

  10. Your data

    The Zoo uses your name, email and link only for this licence and the credits. It keeps them while the licence runs and as long as the law requires afterwards. More in the privacy policy.

    Deine Daten

    Der Zoo verwendet deinen Namen, deine E-Mail-Adresse und deinen Link nur für diese Lizenz und die Namensnennung. Er speichert sie für die Laufzeit der Lizenz und danach so lange, wie es gesetzlich vorgeschrieben ist. Mehr in der Datenschutzerklärung.

  11. Law

    German law applies. Changes to this licence are made in text form, for example by email. If the English and German texts differ, the German text applies.

    Es gilt deutsches Recht. Änderungen dieser Lizenz erfolgen in Textform, zum Beispiel per E-Mail. Weichen der englische und der deutsche Text voneinander ab, gilt der deutsche Text.

This page saves and sends nothing. “Write the email” opens your email app with your details filled in, addressed to kontakt@enchantedzoo.com. Attach your model or paste a download link, then send it. Prefer a PDF? Print or save this page and attach it to your email instead. Diese Seite speichert und sendet nichts. „Write the email“ öffnet dein E-Mail-Programm mit deinen Angaben.
